Should I send Client's Thank-You Letters, Email, or Videos?

For years, I have been sending thank-you emails after each client purchased and have received reply emails that were very nice. Could I have sent a thank-you letter? Yes, but it is difficult for the client to set-aside time to write a return letter. What about creating a thank-you video? This is very time-consuming for the vendor, and the client loves these videos. However, most reply back by email. I would only do a thank-you video for very large clients, which you made thousands of dollars. My best advice, send everyone a thank-you email. It's simple and the client always reply's back with a favorable note. Sincerely, John Bagwell Internet Marketing Expert www.SocialMediaMarketingLLC.com

Can I make money from YouTube?

I'm sure you heard the statistic that by 2019, eighty percent of all web traffic will be claimed by video traffic. If that was true, then why is there very few video content on Google search? I can see video consumption on mobile devices doubling every year, since its easier to watch a video than to read text. However, in reality it takes a long time to build a following on YouTube. If you spend $20 dollars to make $3 dollars using Google video ads, then YouTube is a bad business model....

Influencer Marketing and the True ROI

As I said earlier in a previous post, what makes an influencer's tribe open an email or post, if they are constantly bombarded by recommendations by the blogger? Nothing. They simply will ignore all incoming email and posts, because these type of sponsored emails or posts happen too frequently. This means the majority of all influencer's suck at influencing their tribe.   This also means that the majority of hype about using influencer marketing is fake, produced by fake influencer's. I believe that 90% of all influencer's use comments and likes produced by bots, which means the true ROI is very, very low. In addition, the influencer's who have an actual tribe that will follow them are very expensive ($50,000 to...

The Problem With LinkedIn Marketing

The problem with LinkedIn marketing is Linkedin. What do I mean by this? There was a time long ago, when emailing your tribe in Linkedin was not only easy to do, but very profitable. However, today's LinkedIn considers emailing your own tribe as spamming--so that type of marketing is frowned on. What about sponsored ads in LinkedIn? Very few sponsored ads are shown (3 at best), and the competition for bidding makes Google Adwords look cheap, which means your ad does not get shown! Would I ever recommend LinkedIn advertising? The Answer is No! Go to Google Adwords or Facebook advertsing, you'll have better results. Sincerely, John Bagwell Internet Marketing Expert

The Steps to Make a Facebook Post Go Viral

Can a Facebook post go Viral? In most circumstances, the answer is No! However, under certain circumstances it may go viral if you proceed with the following steps: 1) The post must be unique and it must be personal. Here is an example: Daughter asks the world to help her daddy's new business survive, before we are thrown-out of our house. 2) Use an image that evokes an emotion. Example: A starving child. 3) You must ask for help from friends (and possible customers) to share your post. 4) Post between 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the afternoon when viewership spikes. 5) Boost your post using a Facebook ad. Normally, I am against boosting posts, but a $20 boost...
